Description

The communication process is vital for learning in the classroom. And knowing how to ask and listen is vital to putting them into action.

In this course we will discover our skills as mentors, our starting point and where we want to go. An experiential training that will make us discover what motivates us, what slows us down and how to transform problems into objectives in order to make students want to continue with their studies and be aware of their potential.

(ES) – El proceso de comunicación es vital para que pueda haber aprendizaje en el aula. Y saber preguntar y escuchar es vital para llegar a los alumnos y ponerlos en acción.

En este curso descubriremos nuestras habilidades como mentores, nuestro punto de partida y dónde queremos llegar. Una formación vivencial que nos hará descubrir qué nos motiva, qué nos frena y cómo transformar los problemas en objetivos para conseguir que los alumnos quieran continuar con sus estudiós y sean conscientes de su potencial.)

 

What is Mentoring?

Mentoring is a methodology to develop the potential of individuals and organizations, based on knowledge transfer, conversations and learning through experience. It is a resource of change and improvement for all those involved. It is one of the most powerful practices to promote organizational learning and talent development. A new way of understanding learning and training. A person with experience (mentor) guides, helps, encourages and supports another (mentee) to develop their potential and achieve their goals. Mentoring programs allow the development of all participants, being a methodology in which mentor and mentee face-to-face sessions grow when working together.

Mentoring for Teachers

The rate of early school-leavers (young people between 18 and 24 years who have not completed post-mandated and do not receive any type of training) in europe stood at 18.3%.The European Commission set as a goal to be below 10% in the EU.

Knowing how to develop the potential of our students, understanding how to motivate them, how to communicate with them to challenge them and what skills we must work on them and ourselves is the basis of this course

Do you organize accomodation, transportation and cultural visit?

Yes, we organize local transportation, hotel, food, cultural visit, and social activities. Please contact us about the details and the offers when your project is granted by Erasmus Plus.

Can you organize a tailor-made course and only a course for my group?

Yes, we do it. TRESDOSU works and create project of creativity, gamification, technology, pedagogy, menthoring, entrepreneurship and habilities. We can propose you a tailor-made programme according to your needs. We create groups with minimum 6 participants. If you have 6 participants or more we can organize a course for you on the dates and location you prefer.

Barcelona, Spain

Preparation

We will send to participants an information pack which has the necessary information to not to face problems during the course and other times. This package includes all logistical information (weather, currency, airport transfer, course location details, contact information, etc.) and preparations for participants for the course. In the course organization team, we have a guide for the groups for practical arrangements and the problems.

Methodology

Our course is a practice course with education methods. Participants are actively involved and use the methodology learn by doing, gamification and menthoring. Experimentation, conversation and creativity moments to think how to introduce the new knowledge in their educational centers.

Evalutation

During and at the end of the course, general oral and written evaluations are made and achievements of the participants are assessed. Cultural excursions and closing events are organized after the course closed with a certificate of attendance. We will share our photos, videos, reports, and materials which are produced during the course with the participants. The course will be monitoring by trainers and reports will be prepared by trainers to inform participants about the quality of the course, outcomes, evaluation results, feedbacks and etc.

Fee

  • 5 days training course: €350 (including Tax)
  • 7 days training course: €490 (including Tax)
  • 9 days training course: €630 (including Tax)

* Daily €70 fee includes preparation of participants, Implementation of training course, coffee break, certificates, training materials, video clip and the photos of training course, after course support and materials. Hotel, food, transportation, cultural visit, and extra activities will not be included training course fee. For the accommodation please contact with course organization team.

Payment Method

Participants transfer %30 of the whole amount before maximum 1 month of the course date. Remaining part will be paid in cash on the last day of the training course. For the reservation during the project application, any payment will be not asked. If the project is granted, participants contact with TRESDOSU and ask for confirmation of course participation.
